1. Who this contract is between, and what it covers
These terms govern the rights and obligations between you and the operator of Yuralume Cloud, for the Hosted AI character service sold through the Taiwan store. The service is operated by 悠藍微光有限公司, a limited company incorporated in Taiwan (Tax ID 62148730; registered address: 14F, No. 427, Ziqiang Rd., Tamsui Dist., New Taipei City 251, Taiwan). Our support email is danny@yuralume.com, and the full disclosure is on the Merchant and support information page.
Self-host Core is software you deploy and manage on your own equipment. It is not the Hosted Cloud service these terms describe; how it may be licensed and used is governed by the corresponding open-source / source-available license documents.
2. What the service is, and where the first-party boundary sits
The first product is the Yuralume Cloud 30-day Hosted service, operated by Yuralume itself. Its features, service period, available capabilities, bundled allowance, limits, and system requirements are whatever the order summary and product page show you before you pay.
We do not currently run a marketplace, collect payments for third-party sellers, hold funds in escrow, or pay out creator revenue shares. If we ever change the business model, we will first put the legal, payment provider, and contractual arrangements in place — we will not stretch this contract to cover third-party transactions.
3. Buying, pricing and activation
- All prices are shown in New Taiwan dollars, tax included. The price of the first product — the 30-day Hosted service — and the number of Lumes (closed-loop AI credits) bundled with it are whatever the store page in your account center shows you before you buy. Payment is made from that store page.
- Every order is started by you. There is no recurring billing, no automatic renewal, and no automatic top-up.
- When purchasing opens, you will see the payment method, the payment deadline, when the service starts, and the start and end dates of the 30-day period.
- A successful payment page only means the payment message has been sent. What counts is our server verifying the payment result and activating the order.
- Once your order is placed you get transaction details you can keep, and your service and allowance records appear in your account center.
4. Lumes (closed-loop AI credits)
Lumes (closed-loop AI credits) are a closed-loop allowance that can only pay for Yuralume's own services, from your own Yuralume Cloud account. They are not currency, an electronic payment account, a virtual asset, or an investment product.
- Lumes cannot be transferred, given away, sold, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash or any other asset, and you may not top up someone else's account.
- Paid balance and gifted balance are recorded separately. The order in which they are spent, the rates, and how usage is calculated and rounded are disclosed before you buy.
- Calling them something else does not remove the statutory rights attached to Lumes you have paid for. Unused balance is handled under these terms, the refund policy, and applicable law.
- Gifted balance has no cash value. Its validity period and the plan it belongs to are stated clearly before you receive it.
5. Account security and minors
Please give accurate information, keep your login credentials safe, and take responsibility for what happens in your account. If you notice a login or payment you did not authorize, tell us through our support channel straight away.
A person with limited legal capacity needs their legal representative's consent before using paid services; a person without legal capacity must have their legal representative enter into the contract. Where a purchase was made without the appropriate consent, cancellation or a refund of the unused amount can be requested through the statutory process.
6. Hosted content and acceptable use
Hosted Cloud does not offer NSFW, and prohibits pornographic, unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, child-exploitative, or malicious content, as well as content used to harm other people. The full rules and how we act on them are in the Hosted Cloud acceptable use policy.
You keep the rights to your own original input and to content you lawfully own, and you allow Yuralume to process that content only as far as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service you asked for. Please do not upload personal data, works, or character assets you have no right to use.
7. Ending the contract, cancellation and refunds
You may end the service as applicable law allows. The right to withdraw from a distance contract, how you give prior consent to the digital-content exception, and how already-delivered services and unused paid Lumes (closed-loop AI credits) are handled, all follow the refund and cancellation policy.
These terms do not use a blanket "no refunds" rule to remove your statutory rights. If the competent authority determines that Yuralume Cloud falls under Taiwan's online game regulations, contract termination, refunds of unused paid Lumes, and notice of service closure will follow those regulations.
8. Maintenance, incidents and changes to these terms
We announce necessary maintenance in advance whenever we can. Where a service interruption is our fault, we will extend the service, return allowance, or refund, according to the impact, applicable law, and the remedy we announce — we do not replace case-by-case handling with a blanket disclaimer.
Changes affecting price, your rights, or core service are normally announced thirty days before they take effect, with notice to users who have given us contact details. If you do not accept a material change, you can end the contract before it takes effect, and unused paid entitlements are handled under the refund policy.
9. Intellectual property, suspension and liability
Rights in Yuralume's software, brand, interface, and operational content belong to their respective owners under the applicable licenses and law. Our advertising, product pages, rate tables, and the promises we make to you form part of the contract; we do not disclaim them as "for reference only".
In the event of a security attack, fraudulent payment, unlawful conduct, or serious and repeated breaches of the acceptable use policy, we may restrict an account based on evidence, proportionality, and the notice required. In an urgent security incident we may act first and notify afterwards. If we got it wrong, we will restore your entitlements and address any loss we are responsible for.
10. Support, consumer complaints and governing law
Support and complaint channels are on the Merchant and support information page. Our support email (danny@yuralume.com) is a contact method that reaches us quickly and effectively; typical response times are published on the Merchant and support information page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Agreeing on a court of first instance does not exclude the consumer jurisdiction protected by the Consumer Protection Act and the Code of Civil Procedure. Where a term is ambiguous, it is interpreted in the consumer's favor, as the Consumer Protection Act requires.
