1. What you may use it for
You can use Hosted Cloud for AI character interaction, fictional writing, character memory, schedules, personalized conversation, and any generation capability Yuralume has explicitly opened — within what the service offers and what the law allows. Please respect other people's rights, the service's resources, and community safety.
2. Prohibited content and behavior
- Pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual services, the exploitation or sexualization of minors, and any other NSFW content.
- Unlawful trade, fraud, money laundering, gambling, drugs, weapons, or evading measures taken by the competent authority.
- Hate, harassment, stalking, threats, encouraging self-harm, non-consensual intimate content, or taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable state.
- Collecting, disclosing, or inferring personal data without authorization; impersonating a real person, deepfake fraud, or infringing likeness, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Malware, unauthorized scanning, bypassing access controls, abusing the API, disrupting the service, or exhausting resources other users depend on.
- Selling, transferring, or sharing an account or Lumes (closed-loop AI credits), topping up someone else's account, or using the service to collect payments for third parties, resell, or share revenue.
3. Where Self-host ends and Hosted begins
Self-host Core is deployed by you, on your own equipment or a host you choose. The models, data, external providers, and content policy are the responsibility of whoever administers that deployment. Publishing open-source software does not mean Yuralume Cloud reviews, endorses, or hosts everything running on Self-host.
If you connect from Self-host to a Cloud capability, the requests you send to the Cloud still have to follow this policy. Local content that is never sent to the Cloud is not scanned by the Cloud just because you installed Core.
4. Enforcement and appeals
We respond proportionately, based on the content, the behavior, the risk, how often it happens, and the impact — from refusing a single request, to limiting capabilities, suspending an account, or terminating the service where there is serious illegality or an attack. Outside urgent cases, we normally explain what the violation was and give you a chance to put it right.
So that suspensions are never arbitrary, Yuralume keeps the audit evidence it needs, and you can ask for a review through our support and appeals channel. If we got it wrong, we restore whatever service and allowance can be restored, and address any loss as the law requires.
5. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to keep up with the law, payment provider requirements, or new features. Material changes are announced and sent to users who have given us contact details before they take effect. An update is never applied retroactively to punish behavior that was allowed before it.
